Lithium molybdates

By varying the experimental conditions, Ephraim and Brand have prepared six different molybdates by the interaction of lithium carbonate and molybdic acid: Li2O,MoO3; 2Li2O,3MoO3; Li20,2MoO3,5H2O; 3Li2O,7MoO3,28H2O; Li2O,3MoO3,7H2O; and Li2O,4MoO3,7H2O. They failed to obtain a salt with a higher proportion of MoO3.

Ephraim and Brand have also described a number of phosphomolybdates of lithium.
